What you will do

• Design, architect, and implement defensive security controls for Amazon AWS, Microsoft Windows, and Kubernetes.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for Cloud IAM, Network Security, Network Policy, and orchestration technologies.
• Develop and maintain engineering and security documentation and provide training to employees.
• Research and implement automated system administration approaches to improve security and stability at scale.
• Mentor other engineers on the Security Engineering team to elevate architecture and secure design practices.
• Lead architectural reviews and drive consensus on security design decisions across various teams.

Requirements

• Around 5 years of experience in an engineering-focused role within a medium to large enterprise.
• Proven experience in mentoring or guiding other engineers.
• Strong knowledge of Linux architectures and enterprise security design.
• Proficiency with scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell, Bash, Docker, Terraform, HashiCorp Stack, and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and Linux Platform as a Service (PaaS).
• Experience applying modern Zero Trust architecture patterns in a production enterprise environment.

• Experience working within the technology or gaming industry.
