What you will do

• Assess the security of cloud-based technology integration pilots and monitor the overall security posture.
• Conduct security reviews of cloud architectures and ensure deployments comply with federal requirements such as FedRAMP and NIST.
• Implement cloud security controls, monitoring solutions, and align integrations with Zero Trust principles.
• Support security for local LLM development and deployment within controlled boundaries.
• Coordinate with cloud service providers on security requirements and provide guidance to DevOps teams.
• Document security controls and provide compliance evidence for cloud integrations.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance.
• Ability to obtain Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Entry on Duty (EOD) Suitability.
• 6+ years of experience in cloud security or security analysis.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP security services.
• Deep understanding of federal cloud security requirements (FedRAMP, NIST).
• Experience with security monitoring and SIEM platforms.

Nice to have

• Experience with container security (Docker, Kubernetes) and AI/ML security considerations.
• Background in malware analysis or threat hunting in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools and IaC security scanning.
• DoD 8140 IAT Level II or AWS Certified Security certifications.
