Salary: $195,000 – $300,000

What you will do

• Provide strategic and technical leadership, personally architecting and implementing security solutions.
• Write and review Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and security tooling code.
• Establish a Platform Security roadmap to increase maturity and reduce toil through automation.
• Mentor engineers and lead hiring plans to scale the security organization.
• Develop security policies, procedures, and standards aligned with GRC and Audit needs.
• Manage third-party vendor relationships and determine "build vs. buy" strategies.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA.
• 5+ years of leadership experience for cloud-native engineering or security teams (AWS preference).
• 10+ years of direct technical experience in Platform Engineering or Security.
• Hands-on coding/IaC work within the last 2-3 years with AWS, EKS, IAM, and Terraform.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
