Scrum Manager (Engine Controls)

Location: Must be based in or able to relocate to Milford, Michigan (Hybrid: 3 days/week in office).

What you will do

• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for the scrum team's product content and backlog.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and the ART Program Management Team to define product vision and roadmaps.
• Translate feature strategies into clear user stories with defined acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate dependencies across multiple scrum teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure technical integrity of products by addressing quality concerns and anomalies.
• Facilitate team events including planning, retrospectives, and demonstrations.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics.
• 5+ years of experience in controls system development.
• Proficiency in C, C++, Python, and MATLAB/Simulink.
• Strong understanding of embedded controls development and delivery processes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects with autonomy.
• Must be able to work on-site in Milford, Michigan at least 3 times per week.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
• 8+ years of experience in Engine or Transmission Controls.
• Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certification.
• Knowledge of OBD-II diagnostics and automotive safety integrity levels (ASIL).
• DFSS Black Belt certification.
