What you will do

• Lead technical projects to deliver production-grade systems, reference architectures, and custom applications.
• Design and build end-to-end systems spanning data engineering, AI, and application development.
• Guide strategic customers in the design, build, and deployment of big data and AI applications.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to influence the Databricks product roadmap.
• Embed with customer teams to deeply understand technical challenges and deliver measurable outcomes.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in data engineering, data platforms, or software engineering.
• Proficiency in Python, Scala, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frameworks.
• Expertise in at least one major cloud ecosystem (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Deep experience with Apache Spark and knowledge of Spark runtime internals.
• Working knowledge of MLOps, AI APIs, and CI/CD for production deployments.
• Must be based in Mountain View, California.
