Director, Technical Services EMEA

Location: Remote, based in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa; extensive international travel is required.

Develops and implements the hirify.global Accountability Suite for public financial management reform and government customers.

What you will do

• Define data migration strategies and implementation approaches for technical consultants at customer locations.
• Build installation, deployment, and technical tools for project delivery.
• Manage the EMEA operations and maintenance team while providing oversight to remote technical teams worldwide.
• Design system rollouts for decentralized operations with project managers.
• Collaborate with R&D, technical consultants, and functional consultants on interfaces, training curricula, and implementation quality.
• Develop scalable hosting models for data centres and disaster recovery sites and ensure delivery consistency across projects.

Requirements

• University degree in Information Technology.
• At least 5 years of experience managing internationally dispersed Services and Support teams.
• Proven experience developing Support and Maintenance policies and procedures.
• Project Management experience and PMI certification.
• Experience with Tomcat, BIRT, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle databases, middleware, and Windows operating systems.
• Excellent written and verbal English and availability for international travel are required.

• Additional IT certifications.
• Experience with Objectives and Key Results frameworks.
