Engineering Manager

Location: Remote from Brazil.

What you will do

• Manage, coach, mentor, and provide performance feedback to four software engineers.
• Lead the successful development and delivery of team projects and operations.
• Improve software development, operational efficiency, and delivery processes.
• Partner with engineering leadership on department strategy, budgets, policies, hiring, and career development.
• Lead technical initiatives and engineering-wide guilds, projects, and improvement activities.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Product Design, Marketing, and other engineering teams on cross-functional initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience and 1–2+ years of technical leadership or people management.
• Proven project management experience, including making trade-offs to deliver high-quality projects on time and against business goals.
• Experience leading technical initiatives with impact across multiple teams or domains.
• Experience mentoring individual contributors across different seniority levels and specializations.
• Experience recruiting, hiring, and leading diverse engineering teams.
• Ability to make progress with minimal guidance and promote ownership and continuous improvement.
