TL;DR
IT Operations Team Leader (Infrastructure): Leading a team responsible for reliable, secure, and high-performing servers, networks, storage, telecommunications, and virtualization services with an accent on operational leadership, service availability, and infrastructure project delivery. Focus on coordinating incident response, analyzing root causes, managing vendors and SLAs, and driving continuous improvement across the IT estate.
Location: Grenaa or Taulov, Denmark; hybrid workplace with 60% work from home permitted. Travel within Denmark and Sweden is required for approximately 25–30% of working time.

What you will do
- Lead, coach, and develop an IT infrastructure team, managing workload allocation, priorities, and performance.
- Oversee daily operations for servers, networks, storage, telecommunications, virtualization, and related infrastructure services.
- Ensure the availability, security, performance, and resilience of IT systems through proactive monitoring and preventative measures.
- Lead infrastructure projects from planning through implementation, managing budgets, resources, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
- Coordinate incident response during critical outages, perform root cause analysis, and prevent recurring incidents.
- Manage infrastructure vendors and service providers, including contracts and SLA performance, while driving continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading IT infrastructure or operations teams.
- Strong technical knowledge of server, network, storage, and virtualization technologies.
- Experience with IT Service Management frameworks such as ITIL.
- Experience delivering infrastructure projects, managing stakeholders, and troubleshooting complex issues.
- Fluent English and Danish are required.
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience; a valid driving licence is required.
Nice to have
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.
- Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, or equivalent industry certifications.
- Advanced network experience and/or Cisco certification.
