Fabrication Mechanic - Marking (1st & 2nd Shift Available) (Aerospace)

Location: Laconia, New Hampshire, United States. Onsite role with 1st and 2nd shift options.

Salary: $1.00 per hour shift differential for the 2nd shift.

What you will do

• Interpret engineering drawings, factory orders, and routers to determine marking requirements.
• Mark materials, test pieces, parts, and assemblies using Electro-Etch, laser, Vibro-Peen, Dot-Peen, and ink methods.
• Scan barcodes or manually enter identification requirements into the computer.
• Transfer ink markings and install aluminum and stainless-steel tags on parts, hoses, and tubes.
• Apply shrink sleeves over markings and support other assigned production duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One to three months of related experience or training is acceptable.
• Ability to stand, walk, handle materials, reach, talk, and hear regularly.
• Ability to lift or move up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Close vision and the ability to adjust focus are required.
• Consistent, regular, and punctual attendance.

Culture & Benefits

• 1st shift: Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM.
• 2nd shift: Monday through Thursday, 3:15 PM to 1:45 AM.
• Additional $1.00 hourly differential for the 2nd shift.
