Fabrication Mechanic - Marking (1st & 2nd Shift Opportunities)

Location: Laconia, New Hampshire, United States; on-site. 1st shift runs Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM–3:15 PM. 2nd shift runs Monday–Thursday, 3:15 PM–1:45 AM, with a $1.00 shift differential.

What you will do

• Read engineering drawings, factory orders, and routers to determine marking requirements.
• Apply Electro-Etch, laser, Vibro-Peen, Dot-Peen, and ink markings to parts, test pieces, and assemblies.
• Scan barcodes or manually enter identification requirements into a computer.
• Transfer ink markings onto part surfaces and prepare aluminum tags before assembly.
• Install aluminum and stainless-steel tags on parts, hoses, and tubes.
• Apply shrink sleeves over markings and perform other assigned production duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One to three months of related experience or training is accepted.
• Ability to stand, walk, handle materials, reach, talk, and hear regularly during work.
• Ability to lift or move up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Close vision and the ability to adjust focus are required.
• Reliable, regular, and punctual attendance is required.
