What you will do

• Perform physical installation of AV and networking technology into racks and various project locations.
• Cut, label, and terminate cables for broadcast, network, and AV connectors using hand tools and automated machines.
• Prepare and stage equipment racks, including installing power strips, grounding bars, and custom panels.
• Interpret functional design drawings, wire lists, and rack diagrams to execute system builds.
• Maintain an organized shop environment and manage tool/material inventories.
• Coordinate with project management and engineering teams to ensure build efficiency and quality.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle for travel to job sites.
• Minimum 1 year of related industry experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Familiarity with audio, video, and networking equipment and low-voltage electrical concepts.
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 40 pounds and work in construction site conditions.
• Good verbal communication and customer service skills.

Nice to have

• AVIXA CTS or CTS-I certification.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Basic carpentry or installation skills.
