What you will do
- Administer the Meraki dashboard (switches, access points, security appliances) and maintain configuration standards, firmware management, and monitoring/alerting.
- Troubleshoot network issues and support network changes, including managing Meraki administrative access and documenting environment changes.
- Own primary/secondary circuit relationships, coordinate with ISPs/carriers for installs and renewals, and manage escalation for outages and degraded service.
- Manage corporate and guest wireless (SSIDs, access controls, coverage initiatives) and isolate/escalate Netskope-related wireless issues with the security team.
- Own wired and wireless 802.1X configuration and operational procedures, troubleshoot authentication/certificate issues, and coordinate NAC policy dependencies.
- Manage building-to-building connectivity, execute/document disaster recovery testing between circuits, and administer ThousandEyes endpoint agents.
Requirements
- 5+ years of related experience (or advanced degree with 3+ years) and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Hands-on experience administering Cisco Meraki cloud-managed networking (MX, MS, MR) with strong Meraki Dashboard administration, configuration standards, and firmware management.
- Experience owning enterprise circuit relationships and coordinating with ISPs/carriers for installs, renewals, outages, and service reviews.
- Working knowledge of enterprise corporate/guest wireless architecture and troubleshooting.
- Experience with 802.1X (wired/wireless) including authentication troubleshooting and certificate management; familiarity with NAC platforms such as Portnox or Cisco ISE.
- English: fluent written and oral communication required. Work authorization: applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; sponsorship is not available.
