What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Ruby, with secondary contributions in Python and TypeScript.
• Enhance front-end functionality utilizing modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular.
• Lead architectural and design discussions to ensure long-term system maintainability and scalability.
• Collaborate with Product and QA teams to ship high-quality features via Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Mentor junior engineers through pair programming, code reviews, and proactive technical guidance.
• Contribute to internal tooling and development best practices to maximize team efficiency.

Requirements

• Must be able to live and work full-time in one of the 40 specified US states or Ontario, Canada.
• Proven track record of shipping large, complex software projects in production.
• Fluency in Ruby and experience with Python or TypeScript.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
• Demonstrated experience in architectural design and technical decision-mahirify.globalg.
• Ability to mentor other engineers and articulate complex technical trade-offs.
• Proficiency in Agile/Scrum development environments.
