Senior Fullstack Developer (Ruby/TypeScript)

Location: Remote within the United States, limited to the listed eligible states; technical positions in Canada are limited to Ontario. Central or Eastern US time zones (CDT or EDT) are strongly preferred. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $122K–$153K annually, plus equity.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable Ruby backend services, with occasional contributions in Python and TypeScript.
• Develop front-end functionality using TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Ship complex features from concept through deployment with strong testing and quality practices.
• Contribute to architectural decisions, technical design discussions, and long-term system maintainability.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, PMO, and engineering teams using Scrum methodologies.
• Mentor junior engineers through pairing, code reviews, and technical guidance.

Requirements

• Experience shipping large, complex software projects in production.
• Fluency in Ruby and experience with Python or TypeScript.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
• Experience contributing to architecture and technical decision-mahirify.globalg.
• Experience mentoring engineers through code reviews, pairing, or informal leadership.
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and Agile/Scrum environments.
