Salary: €55,300–€70,000 gross per year.

What you will do

• Research and adapt state-of-the-art AI techniques to solve complex, large-scale business challenges.
• Lead the development of innovations in NLP, Information Retrieval, and Generative AI.
• Design and conduct advanced experiments and feasibility studies to guide technical strategy.
• Develop scalable and maintainable machine learning solutions and research frameworks.
• Collaborate with Applied AI and Engineering teams to facilitate the adoption of research outcomes.
• Communicate technical vision and research findings to diverse technical and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Must be based in Spain.
• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, or AI research.
• Demonstrated expertise in training transformer-based models for NLP, Recommendation Systems, or Information Retrieval.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, PyTorch, Hugging Face, and Git.
• Experience with vector databases and retrieval-based systems.

Nice to have

• PhD in a relevant field.
• Publications in leading conferences like NeurIPS, ICML, or ACL.
• Experience with RAG architectures, LLMs, and Knowledge Graphs.
• Experience in retail, ecommerce, or FMCG domains.
