Salary: $150,000 – $200,000

What you will do

• Lead the development of earnings materials, including presentations, scripts, and Q&A analyses.
• Analyze investor sentiment, analyst research, and market perception to provide clear insights for management.
• Partner with FP&A to translate internal operating trends and forecast assumptions into investor-relevant insights.
• Coordinate with Capital Markets and Corporate Development on capital-raising activities to ensure narrative consistency.
• Identify gaps between internal expectations and external market models to recommend messaging approaches.
• Mentor and develop a direct report (Investor Relations Analyst) to raise the function's analytical quality.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in equity research, investment banking, management consulting, strategic finance, or investor relations.
• Strong command of financial statements, valuation frameworks, and public company disclosures.
• Advanced financial modeling capabilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for a sophisticated financial audience.
• Must be based in San Francisco or San Jose and able to work from the office 4 days per week.

• Experience with capital-intensive businesses or companies requiring significant capital raises.
• Experience with highly technical or complex business models.
