What you will do

• Partner with back-office units (HR, Legal, Finance, Marketing) to identify workflow pain points and opportunities for improvement.
• Assess and implement optimal solutions, ranging from process cleanup and standard automation to AI-assisted workflows and agentic solutions.
• Design, prototype, and deploy practical tools to improve visibility, accuracy, and cycle time.
• Collaborate with IT to secure necessary data access and formalize specifications for long-term support.
• Document solution logic and assumptions for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong Python programming skills for building automations and data-driven applications.
• Working knowledge of LLMs, Generative AI, Prompt Engineering, and RAG concepts (embeddings, search, caching).
• Familiarity with APIs and methods for connecting models to business systems.
• Must be based in or be able to work from San Jose, CA.

Nice to have

• Experience taking AI or automation prototypes into full production.
• Hands-on experience with agentic frameworks and production AI agent development.
• Exposure to cross-functional business environments in HR, Finance, Legal, or Marketing.
