What you will do

• Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple ML initiatives from planning and design through rollout and maintenance.
• Partner with risk, product, engineering, and operations leaders to define long-term ML roadmaps.
• Drive R&D efforts exploring next-generation chatbot architectures using LLMs, RAG, and fine-tuning.
• Design and deploy ML models powering conversational agents across Cash App and Square.
• Develop ML-powered tools and real-time recommendation systems for support agents.
• Act as the technical representative for the team's systems to cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in machine learning, applied AI, or product ML roles.
• Proven track record of shipping end-to-end ML features from problem framing to production.
• Demonstrated experience with language models, dialog systems, or generative AI in production.
• Strong foundation in NLP, deep learning, and ML infrastructure best practices.
• Ability to influence and align cross-functional teams through technical guidance.
• Must be based in the US (as per salary zone requirements).

• Experience with Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
