What you will do

• Conduct fundamental credit, strategic, macroeconomic, asset-class, and sector-level research.
• Underwrite, structure, execute, and monitor investments across public and private corporate credit, fund finance, credit alternatives, and structured credit.
• Assess relative value and generate actionable insights for portfolio decisions.
• Prepare and present investment recommendations, memoranda, and presentations to investment committees and senior leadership.
• Lead cross-functional transaction execution with operations, legal, accounting, risk, external counterparties, and asset managers.
• Monitor portfolio holdings, assess performance, and provide recommendations to portfolio managers and senior leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in credit underwriting, investment banking, corporate development, asset management, or a related investment role.
• 5+ years of experience in financial modeling, enterprise valuation, and fundamental credit analysis.
• Strong Excel modeling and Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to evaluate individual investments alongside portfolio-level risks, tradeoffs, and strategic considerations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting investment recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree such as an MBA or a CFA designation.
• Experience structuring, underwriting, and executing private credit transactions, including leveraged loans, CLOs, CFOs, ABS, or convertible notes.
• Experience reviewing complex transaction documents such as LPAs, indentures, and subscription agreements.
• Experience leading diligence and managing relationships with external managers, counterparties, and counsel.
