SIEM Architect (Cybersecurity)

Location: USA — Remote

Annual salary: $180,000–$200,000, plus bonus or incentive pay.

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership as the subject matter expert for enterprise cybersecurity log management and SIEM solutions.
• Design secure, highly available, modular, and maintainable log management and SIEM architectures.
• Create and maintain high-level designs, low-level designs, reference architectures, standards, and technical documentation.
• Evaluate emerging SIEM capabilities and drive enterprise-wide standardization.
• Partner with engineering, enterprise architecture, infrastructure, cloud, and security operations teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience deploying, managing, maintaining, and architecting enterprise SIEM and log management solutions.
• Hands-on expertise with CrowdStrike Next-Gen SIEM, Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Palo Alto XSIAM, Google SecOps, Elastic, or similar platforms.
• Experience with enterprise log data pipeline platforms such as Cribl, Databahn, Onum, Bindplane, or Vector.
• Experience developing integrations across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong technical documentation and communication skills, including architectural diagrams, logical flow diagrams, operating procedures, and use case documentation.

Nice to have

• Experience administering and architecting multi-tenant implementations.
• Programming or scripting expertise in Python, Bash, or PowerShell, with Python preferred.
• Experience automating deployments with scripts or Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
• Experience communicating with engineering, operations, and senior leadership.
