What you will do

• Lead the technical delivery of agentic workstreams from prototype to production.
• Build shared services and protocols for agent-to-agent messaging and tool orchestration.
• Set and uphold high engineering standards for code quality, observability, and testing.
• Design systems for non-deterministic behavior, ensuring accuracy and cost-efficiency.
• Mentor engineers through design and code reviews to unblock technical challenges.
• Translate architectural direction into shippable, high-impact increments.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript.
• Track record of leading technical delivery and shipping complex systems.
• Experience building agentic or multi-step automated systems (LLM reasoning loops, tool orchestration).
• Must be located in the Farmington Hills / Metro Detroit, Michigan area.
• Position not available for immigration sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with LLM safety, evaluation, or governance systems.
• Background in platform engineering or enterprise-scale developer tooling.
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Terraform.
• Open-source contributions on public GitHub.
