What you will do

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex AI solutions, LLM-based applications, and retrieval pipelines.
• Own the technical direction for major AI components and platforms.
• Establish engineering best practices for model evaluation, testing, monitoring, and operationalization.
• Partner with product and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable AI systems.
• Guide architectural decisions regarding model selection, system integration, and API design.
• Mentor engineers to improve team capability and overall engineering quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
• Significant experience delivering production AI/ML systems, including deployment and operationalization.
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or Rust.
• Expertise in AI/ML frameworks, LLM technologies, and data pipelines.
• Deep knowledge of model lifecycle management and MLOps practices.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Windsor, CT.
