What you will do

• Advise on legal aspects of commercial activities and resolve employment-related legal issues.
• Draft and negotiate settlement agreements with customers and vendor agreements.
• Provide legal guidance regarding HIPAA compliance.
• Participate in and lead due diligence exercises.
• Advise the company on risk issues and manage the operation of the legal department in conjunction with the General Counsel.

Requirements

• Proven experience in commercial legal advisory and risk management.
• Ability to lead and manage legal department operations.
• Experience with HIPAA regulations and compliance.
• Strong skills in drafting and negotiating complex legal agreements.
• Must be located in Ontario, Canada
