Senior Principal Foundry Engineer - Product Engineering (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Drive local yield enhancement for lead products during new technology introduction, foundry process transfers, and new fab enablement.
• Develop yield monitoring methodologies and infrastructure for automated yield tracking and analysis.
• Define yield enhancement strategies with technology and product teams and assess needs across the corporation.
• Influence internal organizations and external foundries to allocate resources and meet yield targets.
• Apply yield enhancement methods across products, technology nodes, and foundries while accounting for process, device, design, and test limitations.
• Generate and standardize yield enhancement Best Known Methods across technology platforms.

Requirements

• Minimum M.S. in Electrical Engineering or a similar discipline.
• At least 10 years of semiconductor experience in yield enhancement or a similar area.
• Fluency in spoken Mandarin is required for regular interaction with Mandarin-speaking suppliers.
• English proficiency is required for collaboration with global NXP technology and product teams.
• Strong understanding of yield enhancement, data analysis, and failure analysis techniques.
• Good understanding of SoC architecture and product test patterns.

Nice to have

• Experience setting up yield management systems.
• Programming experience and familiarity with database structures.
