Senior Quantum 3D Integration and Packaging Engineer

Location: Singapore, Science Park II; moving to the Tampines office starting May 2027

What you will do

• Create 3D integration and packaging solutions for quantum structures and different technology platforms.
• Develop materials, processes, and structures with advanced packaging, process, hardware, and metrology teams.
• Design experiments, collect and analyze data, measure material and device properties, and compile technical reports.
• Troubleshoot complex process engineering issues, perform root cause analysis, and optimize processes.
• Prepare internal and external product documentation, presentations, and technical reports.
• Collaborate with customers, startups, universities, suppliers, and multidisciplinary R&D teams to develop enabling solutions.

Requirements

• Degree in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Microelectronics, or a related field; PhD, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree accepted.
• At least 5 years of experience in advanced packaging, 3D integration, heterogeneous integration, or semiconductor process development.
• Strong knowledge of wafer-level packaging, hybrid bonding, TSV, chiplets, flip-chip, and related technologies.
• Hands-on experience with semiconductor fabrication, process integration, materials characterization, and metrology.
• Experience with DOE, data analysis, process optimization, and root cause analysis.
• Strong problem-solving, technical communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with quantum devices, superconducting technologies, photonics, or cryogenic systems.
• Experience working with customers, startups, universities, and multidisciplinary R&D teams.
