TL;DR
Engineering Project Team Leader (Heavy Machinery): Leading product development for Medium Wheel Loader product introductions with an accent on New Product Introduction (NPI) and New Technology Introduction (NTI). Focus on directing cross-functional teams, managing project execution, and delivering safe, cost-effective engineering solutions.
Location: Must work in the office 5 days a week in Peoria, IL. Sponsorship is not available. Relocation is available.
Salary: $128,470.00 - $192,710.00

What you will do
- Lead complex engineering projects involving cross-functional stakeholders and value chain partners.
- Define and refine project scope to address business challenges and opportunities.
- Coordinate resources across engineering, sales, marketing, and manufacturing teams.
- Oversee project progress, timing, and costs while communicating risks to stakeholders.
- Direct project staffing and mentor team members to drive high-quality results.
- Guide requirements analysis and resolve NPI issues throughout the development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related fields.
- Expert-level proficiency in project management practices.
- Experience leading high-performing technical teams and aligning mission goals.
- Advanced technical expertise to solve complex manufacturing and product challenges.
- Ability to influence decisions and build credibility through subject matter expertise.
Nice to have
- Experience with machine level software integration.
- Proven track record of mentorship to increase team technical skills.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with upper management.
