TL;DR
IT Specialist/AI Tech (Desktop Support and AI): Providing onsite desktop and end-user support while developing practical AI tools and workflows with an accent on Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and generative AI platforms. Focus on configuring and deploying equipment, troubleshooting user environments, testing AI agents and chatbots, and identifying business process improvements.
Location: Onsite in Downers Grove, IL (60515), Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. No travel required.

What you will do
- Provide desktop and end-user support by resolving service desk tickets.
- Configure and deploy desktop and laptop computers and troubleshoot hardware, software, printers, and peripherals.
- Maintain Active Directory accounts and permissions and support Microsoft 365 users.
- Manage PC inventory, asset tracking, shipping, and equipment receiving.
- Use Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, and similar generative AI tools to support organizational initiatives.
- Develop, configure, and test AI agents, chatbots, automation, and AI-powered workflows.
Requirements
- 3+ years of IT support, desktop support, or help desk experience.
- Experience supporting Active Directory and Microsoft 365 / Office 365 environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, customer service, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
- Experience using AI tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar platforms.
- Ability to multitask, follow established procedures, and learn new technologies.
- Ability to bend, lift, carry, and move equipment weighing up to 30 pounds.
Nice to have
- Experience creating or experimenting with AI agents or AI workflows.
- Familiarity with AI image generation, AI bots, or business automation tools.
- Experience working in a Windows desktop support environment.
