Auditor (Financial Services)

Location: Remote within approximately 30 miles of the Windsor, Connecticut office; periodic onsite meetings and collaboration are required.

Salary: $86,900–$108,620 USD annual base salary.

What you will do

• Plan and execute audits across Retirement and Wealth Management businesses.
• Prepare audit programs, perform testing, and create high-quality workpapers.
• Test key controls and evaluate compliance with policies, procedures, and audit standards.
• Use data analytics to support audit testing and control evaluations.
• Analyze findings, perform root cause analysis, and recommend improvements to internal controls and operational efficiency.
• Communicate audit results to management and collaborate with Internal Audit and business partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant audit, assurance, or related experience.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, business processes, IT processes, and IIA standards.
• Understanding of accounting and financial, market and credit, IT, and regulatory/compliance risks.
• Strong organizational, analytical, project management, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.

Nice to have

• Experience in public accounting, consulting, or internal audit.
• Financial services experience, especially in broker-dealer, investment advisory, retirement, or wealth management operations.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience using AI, GenAI, agentic AI tools, or Microsoft Copilot.
