Salary: $86,900 – $108,620 USD

What you will do

• Assist in planning and executing audits within Retirement and Wealth Management lines of business.
• Perform audit procedures and prepare high-quality workpapers documenting testing and conclusions.
• Test key controls to assess operating effectiveness in accordance with IIA standards.
• Design and utilize data analytics to support audit testing and control evaluations.
• Develop audit findings, perform root cause analysis, and provide practical recommendations for process improvement.
• Collaborate with senior team members to communicate results to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in audit, assurance, or related discipline.
• Must be located within ~30 miles of the Windsor, CT office.
• Basic knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and IIA standards.
• Understanding of financial, market, credit, and regulatory risk.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in public accounting, consulting, or internal audit.
• Financial services industry experience (broker-dealer, investment advisory, retirement).
• Proficiency with data analytics tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience leveraging AI, GenAI, and agentic AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot).
