Intern - Internal Audit (AI)

Location: Fort Worth, Texas, United States (hybrid); two days per week in the office.

hirify.global is the captive finance subsidiary of General Motors, providing auto finance, leasing, and commercial lending solutions in North America, South America, and the Asia Pacific region.

What you will do

• Execute internal audits, including process design flows, risk assessments, testing, workpapers, and audit findings.
• Evaluate control structures for enabling and operating departments within hirify.global North America.
• Identify control weaknesses, regulatory compliance issues, and operational risks.
• Prepare actionable recommendations to strengthen processes and mitigate business risks.
• Complete audit assignments efficiently and participate in consultative audits and company projects.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree or higher program in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related major, with at least one semester remaining at the internship start.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 on a 4-point scale.
• Junior or senior classification preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to business leaders.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, conceptual, and organizational skills.
• Immigration-related sponsorship and company support for work authorization are not provided, including H-1B, OPT, STEM OPT, CPT, TN, and J-1.
