Intern, Internal Audit & Enterprise Risk Management (Medtech)

Location: Hybrid role based in Acton, Massachusetts, with on-site work required as business needs require. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship.

Salary: $25.00–$34.00 annual base salary

What you will do

• Support risk-based audits across operational, manufacturing, commercial, corporate, technology, and supply chain functions.
• Participate in process walkthroughs, stakeholder interviews, control documentation, and audit testing.
• Support enterprise risk assessments, risk monitoring, reporting, workshops, and mitigation-plan tracking.
• Analyze business and audit data with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other analytics tools to identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities.
• Support continuous auditing and monitoring initiatives and explore appropriate uses of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.
• Collaborate with Finance, Quality, Compliance, Information Technology, Operations, and other business functions.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Risk Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively.
• U.S. work authorization is required; employer-based visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Undergraduate student completing the junior year and entering the senior year after the internship.
• Internship, co-op, project, or coursework experience in audit, accounting, finance, analytics, information systems, risk management, or technology.
• Familiarity with artificial intelligence tools and emerging business technologies.
