Head of New Business Reporting

Location: London, UK; hybrid working between home and the office

What you will do

• Lead the delivery of new business reporting metrics across IFRS and Solvency UK / Solvency II.
• Manage, coach, and develop a team of four actuarial analysts.
• Review and challenge reporting outputs for the Institutional Retirement business.
• Ensure reporting results, assumptions, policy data, and methodologies are accurate and well controlled.
• Build relationships with PRT Pricing, PRT Client Services, Planning & Analysis, Technical Accounting, Auditors, and Finance teams.
• Drive improvements across reporting processes, systems, controls, documentation, and methodology.

Requirements

• Qualified Life Actuary with FIA, FFA, or equivalent qualification.
• Strong life insurance reporting experience, ideally covering IFRS / IFRS 17 and Solvency UK / Solvency II metrics.
• Knowledge of bulk annuities, individual annuities, PRT, or similar retirement products.
• Experience reviewing actuarial or finance reporting outputs and assessing results for reasonableness.
• Experience managing or developing actuarial, finance, or reporting teams.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and understanding of risk, governance, and regulatory requirements in a UK financial services environment.
