QRT FFI 5-Shift Engineer (DUV)

Location: Veldhoven, Netherlands; onsite work in the cleanroom and on the shop floor. The role follows a five-shift schedule: two morning shifts from 07:00–15:30, two evening shifts from 15:00–23:30, and two night shifts from 23:00–07:30, followed by four days off.

Indicative fixed annual salary: €58,500–€66,000, including vacation allowance and a 13th-month payment. A shift allowance is paid in addition; profit sharing is excluded.

hirify.global operates the TWINSCAN Factory and develops and supports DUV systems through manufacturing and technical organizations.

What you will do

• Provide first-line troubleshooting and problem analysis for Factory and Field Integration activities.
• Support factory output, machine availability, flight dates, and customer commitments by resolving complex technical issues and bottlenecks.
• Design action plans and guide execution engineers during technical issue resolution, including damages, failing tests, progress issues, and performance problems.
• Support delicate and complex hardware actions, particularly during unsupported night shifts.
• Act as an interface between execution teams, QRT engineers, team leads, and technical departments including Technical Support, Module Production, and D&E.
• Coach colleagues, deliver knowledge-transfer training, ensure process adherence, and perform aftercare focused on cycle-time reduction.

Requirements

• Vocational technical degree with several years of experience, or a bachelor's or master's degree in a technical area.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and demonstrated interest in technical problem solving.
• Technical knowledge of hirify.global DUV systems.
• Leadership skills, empathy, teamwork, and the ability to perform under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across multiple organizational levels.
• Fluent English is required for vocal and technical communication.
