Football Systems Operator

Location: On-site at Eredivisie stadiums in the Apeldoorn, Arnhem, and Zwolle region, Netherlands

Salary: €22,630 for 24 hours per week, including holiday allowance and end-of-year payment.

What you will do

• Set up Hawk-Eye technology at football stadiums, including physically demanding cable installation.
• Perform pre-match system checks and monitor hardware and software performance during matches.
• Troubleshoot, document, and report technical issues in a live broadcast environment.
• Liaise with stadium staff, match officials, and host broadcasters on-site.
• Take full responsibility for the system and represent Hawk-Eye as the sole company employee at the stadium.
• Maintain hardware during the off-season and assist with installing and testing new products and services.

Requirements

• Strong technical grounding with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, independent, adaptable, and able to manage time in a high-pressure environment.
• Professional and approachable communication with clients and customers.
• Full valid driving licence and willingness to drive company vans.
• Fluent Dutch and English required.
• Availability for weekends, public holidays, and midweek evenings according to a changing league fixture schedule.

Nice to have

• Degree in science, technology, or engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience in live events or technical production.
