What you will do

• Administer methadone and other medications as prescribed by the medical director.
• Evaluate and assess new and current patients for treatment appropriateness.
• Collect and process urine specimens and record results accurately.
• Maintain medical supply inventories and receive medication shipments per DEA procedures.
• Coordinate and prepare courtesy and vacation dose packages for patients.
• Participate in weekly treatment team meetings and maintain accurate patient dosing records.

Requirements

• Must hold a valid LPN/LVN or RN license in the state of Alabama.
• Must be able to work onsite in Cullman, AL.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
• Basic computing knowledge and accurate data entry skills.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in chemical addiction treatment.
• Phlebotomy certification.
