What you will do

• Conduct individual and group alcohol and drug abuse counseling sessions.
• Develop and revise comprehensive patient treatment plans.
• Perform intake and readmission services for new and returning patients.
• Provide crisis intervention and coordinate care with community providers.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and inter-agency documentation.
• Participate in in-service training and community relations activities.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field.
• Current licensure (ADDC, LPCC, MFTC, LSW, LCSW, LMFT, or LPC) required.
• Ability to make effective decisions and exercise judgment in sensitive situations.
• Understanding of human behavior and substance abuse treatment populations.
• Commitment to maintaining regulatory and accrediting agency standards.
