Financial Accountant (Finance): Own month-end close activities and produce consolidated management accounts with an accent on audit-ready reconciliations, multi-market reporting, and regulatory submissions. What you will do

• Support month-end close including journals, reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments.
• Prepare and maintain consolidated management accounts and supporting schedules.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for business decisions.
• Handle balance sheet reconciliations and maintain a clean, well-documented audit trail; support statutory accounts and group audit schedules.
• Support regulatory/industry reporting including underwriter bordereau reports and FCA submissions.
• Contribute to multi-currency, multi-entity operations and support VAT/tax compliance; help optimize processes with AI tools and support ERP migration in Q4 2026.

Requirements

• English: fluent and German: fluent.
• Part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA/RA) or Qualified by Experience with a strong track record in a similar finance role.
• Solid grounding in month-end close, reconciliations, and management accounts.
• Highly self-directed, organized, and able to manage own workload effectively.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues.
• Process-minded approach to improving structure in an evolving business environment.
