Location: Office based in Matlock, Derbyshire (minimum 2 days per week) with occasional hybrid working

Salary: £24,950 per annum pro rata

What you will do

• Process supplier invoices, ad hoc payments, and staff expense claims with strict adherence to coding policies.
• Reconcile supplier statements monthly and resolve discrepancies to maintain accurate ledgers.
• Manage VAT treatment based on supply type and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
• Operate SAGE X3 and Electronic Document Management systems to manage payments and supplier records.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for supplier queries, ensuring professional and timely resolution.
• Provide support across the wider Finance function and contribute to departmental financial controls.

Requirements

• Experience working within a purchase ledger or finance function (desirable).
• Basic level accountancy training or qualification (desirable).
• Ability to interpret and reconcile financial data from various sources.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office packages.
• Strong attention to detail, numeracy, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to commute to the National Office in Matlock at least 2 days per week.
