What you will do

• Conduct targeted, data-driven 2nd line compliance reviews to assess actual customer outcomes.
• Collaborate with data and AI experts to develop and deploy automated assurance tools.
• Assist with ongoing compliance monitoring and provide well-grounded opinions on business changes.
• Influence senior stakeholders by explaining complex findings and risk assessments.
• Drive the transition from traditional tick-box assurance to a modern, risk-based methodology.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to commute to London, UK for hybrid work.
• Deep understanding of customer-facing processes, operations, or risk management in financial services.
• Broad knowledge of legislation, regulations, and guidance applicable to the banking sector.
• Proven experience in designing or conducting assurance reviews and evaluating risk management.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to focus on key risks rather than unnecessary complexity.
• Excellent communication skills to influence senior stakeholders.

• Experience working with data scientists, AI specialists, or analytics teams.
• Exposure to technology-driven approaches to assurance, risk, or compliance.
