Sky Up Academy Leader (Youth & Social Impact)

Location: Fully onsite five days per week at hirify.global Studios Elstree, Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, UK. Candidates must have the appropriate right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Facilitate hirify.global Up Academy Studios sessions for young people aged 10–18 using bespoke software and studio equipment.
• Support young people with SEND and ensure sessions meet their individual needs.
• Brief visitors and conduct tours that introduce participants to the world of work at hirify.global.
• Work with the Youth & Social Impact Executive on school recruitment, with a focus on underserved areas.
• Maintain safeguarding, legal, data protection, health and safety and local policy requirements.
• Support the Youth & Social Impact leadership team with education strategy and collaboration across the organisation.

Requirements

• Experience of or strong interest in youth work, coaching, education, mentoring or a similar setting.
• Ability to work confidently with young people, including those with SEND, and build positive relationships with students, teachers and visitors.
• Strong communication, collaboration, practical problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Interest in film, television and the creative industries, with enthusiasm for immersive educational experiences.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-pressured environment with resilience and flexibility.
• Enhanced background check and UK right to work required.
