DevOps Engineer - Cloud

What you will do

• Lead the DevOps stream for integrating Issuing applications into public cloud environments.
• Define and manage infrastructure as code with Terraform or Ansible, and package and deploy applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, version control, monitoring, and alerting systems.
• Improve platform delivery and configuration for expected volumes, traffic peaks, resiliency, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Support SRE during business hours, gather requirements, foster development and operations collaboration, and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Integrate security practices, including vulnerability scanning and access control, into the DevOps process.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a DevOps role, particularly in a cloud environment.
• Strong knowledge of public cloud platforms, including Google Cloud, AWS, and Azure; public cloud experience is required, with GCP highly preferred.
• Production experience with Kubernetes on high-scale, critical services.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platform management and related services, using Terraform.
• Familiarity with GitLab CI and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Proficiency in scripting for automation, including Python or Ansible, and in version control systems, particularly Git.
• Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack for monitoring and logging.
• Knowledge of security best practices, including vulnerability scanning and access control.
• Strong understanding of DevOps methodologies and best practices, excellent communication and leadership skills, and a problem-solving and troubleshooting mindset.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and passion for using cutting-edge technologies to drive innovation.
