What you will do

• Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with editorial and commercial objectives.
• Lead the strategy for video-led content, including short-form, live, and platform-native formats.
• Manage, mentor, and inspire the social media team to foster creative ambition and high performance.
• Collaborate with editorial, video, and commercial teams to maximize the impact of talent-led content.
• Monitor KPIs and leverage audience data to optimize content performance and drive growth.
• Oversee paid social media activity and ensure brand consistency across all digital channels.

Requirements

• 4-5 years of experience in a senior social media role with a proven track record in strategy and people management.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and paid campaign management.
• Demonstrable experience in delivering digital audience growth and using analytics tools like Sprout Social or Meta Business Suite.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Genuine interest in sport and the future of digital sports content.
• Must be eligible to work in Ireland.
