Location: Fully remote. Salary benchmarks provided for US, UK, and Kenya; candidates based elsewhere will receive country-specific benchmarks.

Salary: $128,000 (US base), £87,500 (UK base), or $101,221 (Kenya base), plus 15% target bonus and benefits stipend.

What you will do

• Set organization-wide priorities for learning and large-scale M&E across core product lines.
• Define and drive the measurement strategy, including indicators for reach, exclusion, and downstream impact.
• Provide senior technical leadership on formal research and manage academic partnerships.
• Support product design decisions through evidence synthesis and rigorous analysis.
• Build and lead a high-performing team to drive research and M&E workstreams.
• Represent the research agenda externally to donors, media, and academic institutions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in research leadership, M&E, or impact evaluation within a complex, fast-moving environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to build models for cost-effectiveness and ROI.
• Strategic mindset capable of defining theories of change and prioritizing high-impact learning questions.
• Excellent communication skills for representing research findings to diverse internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to lead and mentor teams in a non-hierarchical, candid, and analytical culture.
