Director / Senior Director, Science (Medtech)

TL;DR

Director / Senior Director, Science (Medtech): Driving scientific innovation and clinical evidence for prescription digital therapeutics with an accent on CNS disciplines and commercial strategy. Location: Must be based in New York, NY or Boston, MA (Hybrid: at least 4 days in office each week)

Salary: $165,000 - $195,000 base

What you will do

• Lead the writing and publishing of peer-reviewed papers, white papers, and clinical data presentations.
• Represent the company at external scientific, medical, and industry conferences.
• Identify and maintain strategic relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), clinicians, and academic researchers.
• Provide scientific and medical credibility to business development efforts, conducting scientific diligence and creating partner proposals.
• Act as a scientific liaison between external stakeholders and internal R&D and product teams.
• Collaborate with product, clinical, and regulatory teams to align development with the latest clinical evidence.

Requirements

• Doctoral/professional degree (MD, PhD, PsyD, PharmD) is required.
• Deep expertise in a CNS discipline (e.g., psychiatry, neurology, psychology) and experience with evidence-based nonpharmacological treatment.
• 5+ years of experience in life sciences, digital health, or pharma within a regulated space.
• Proven record of writing, publishing, and speaking externally.
• Must have authorization to work in the U.S.
• Seamless integration of AI into professional workflow and productivity is a prerequisite.

• Experience in migraine or headache disorders.
