What you will do

• Lead and grow distributed engineering teams, fostering a culture of high trust and psychological safety.
• Develop engineering talent through coaching and mentorship, with a focus on senior and staff-level engineers.
• Own the end-to-end delivery and operational excellence of core platform and integration systems.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to set vision, prioritize roadmaps, and align long-term strategy.
• Provide technical leadership by setting architectural guardrails and guiding major technical decisions.
• Establish and uphold rigorous engineering standards, including SLAs, security practices, and QA processes.

Requirements

• Must be based in Poland.
• Extensive experience as an individual contributor and a proven track record as an Engineering Manager leading distributed teams.
• Strong product sense with experience in B2B SaaS, covering backend services, APIs, and user-facing workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to provide technical depth and guide senior engineers through complex architectural problems.
• Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills for a remote-first environment.
• Proven track record of hiring and developing senior talent.

• Experience with event-driven systems and scalable worker frameworks.
