Client Analyst Intern

TL;DR

Client Analyst Intern (Data Analytics): Supporting the Customer Success team in transforming retail data into actionable insights for FMCG clients with an accent on category performance reviews and dashboard maintenance. Focus on developing analytical storytelling skills and mastering industry-standard reporting tools within a hybrid work environment.

Location: Must be enrolled in a Dutch university or higher education institution. The role is based in Amstelveen, Netherlands, with a hybrid working environment.

Salary: €432 – €500 monthly.

What you will do

• Support Analytic Consultants in preparing data-driven analyses and presentations for major FMCG retailers.
• Conduct category performance reviews covering sales, market share, pricing, and promotions.
• Assist in the setup, maintenance, and updating of client dashboards and reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex datasets into clear, compelling business stories.
• Contribute to team projects and ad-hoc analytical tasks.
• Utilize hirify.global tools to build technical proficiency in data management.

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled as a student at a Dutch university or higher education institution.
• Available for a 6-month full-time internship.
• Strong analytical mindset with a high affinity for numbers.
• Proficiency in English (Dutch language skills are considered a plus).
• Solid working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
• Genuine interest in the FMCG industry and retail landscape.

Nice to have

• Previous experience or coursework in Business, Economics, Marketing, or Analytics.
• Fluency in Dutch.
