What you will do

• Collect, interpret, and analyze bottlenecks and developments in data processes, tools, systems, and customer channels.
• Drive change management and continuous improvement, including initiating and implementing automation and improvements for ongoing data quality.
• Build logical data models and maintain the business glossary and data directory.
• Advise internal stakeholders and managers as a subject matter expert on data management topics.
• Create, align, and monitor customer data policies and standards.
• Analyze business and data impact of relevant legislation (e.g., GDPR, DORA) and keep knowledge current in data management and related legal requirements.

Requirements

• Relevant academic degree in Data Science, Data Management, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in data governance, data quality, data management, or data analysis in a large and complex organization.
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks/methodologies and best practices (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK).
• Familiarity with data domains and data standards/legislations in the insurance and/or financial industry.
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English (written and verbal).
• Experience leading workshops and meetings, guiding discussions and co-creation.
