EC&I Design Engineer

What you will do

• Provide technical expertise on EC&I systems to support the wider design team.
• Develop and interpret electrical design documentation including SLDs, loop diagrams, and GA drawings.
• Perform electrical and instrumentation design calculations using AMTECH ProDesign and DIALux.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive design dossiers and technical documentation packages.
• Conduct site surveys and engineering assessments to support project delivery.
• Participate in HAZOP studies, risk assessments, and process safety activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a relevant engineering or design role.
• IET BS 7671 18th Edition qualification.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, EPLAN, AMTECH ProDesign, and DIALux.
• Professional registration as IEng or CEng (or actively working towards it).
