What you will do

• Lead, develop, and support a team of two Finance Assistants to ensure high performance.
• Oversee core transactional processes including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Manage supplier payments, staff expenses, and corporate credit card processes.
• Take ownership of debt collection and customer account reconciliations.
• Lead month-end close activities and provide support for year-end audits.
• Ensure VAT compliance and drive continuous improvement of financial processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a transactional finance environment.
• Previous experience in team leadership or management.
• Strong expertise in month-end processes and financial controls.
• Excellent proficiency in Excel.
• Sound knowledge of UK VAT regulations.
• Ability to build effective professional relationships across the business.
