Americas Procurement Lead (Energy)

What you will do

• Lead and develop a team of procurement professionals supporting execution across North and South America.
• Manage commercial negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and delivery commitments.
• Oversee procurement and subcontracting for Balance of Plant (BOP), medium voltage equipment, and installation services.
• Partner with Project Management, Engineering, and Finance teams to support successful project delivery.
• Manage procurement transactions and reporting using SAP S/4HANA, Coupa, and Salesforce.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for supplier and project-related procurement issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 8-10 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or project procurement.
• Demonstrated people leadership experience, including performance management and hiring.
• Experience supporting complex industrial, energy, utility, or EPC projects.
• Proficiency with ERP and procurement systems, specifically SAP.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US without employer sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) or renewable energy.
• Spanish language proficiency.
• Experience with Coupa, Salesforce, and Power BI.
