Location: Remote (Australia), based in Sunshine Coast, Queensland. Must be willing to travel to customer sites.

What you will do

• Provide global technical support for industrialization, mechanical, electrical, and installation issues.
• Perform root cause analysis on mechanical and electrical field failures to implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with field personnel to troubleshoot problems and program new components.
• Conduct on-site testing, deployment, and training for customers and partners.
• Recommend product modifications and work instruction updates based on field data.
• Serve as part of the Remote Monitoring Team and document all issues in the Case Management System.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or IT.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience working on industrial control systems.
• Strong knowledge of Ethernet networks, IP enabled devices, VPN, and wireless technologies.
• Must be based in Queensland, Australia (Sunshine Coast) and possess a Construction Industry White Card and Unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Knowledge of Australian WHS regulations, JSA, and SWMS documents.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites when necessary.

Nice to have

• Electrical/Instrumentation qualifications and experience.
• Experience with Modbus, OPC-UA, SSH, FTP, SFTP, and SCP.
• Linux OS and automation scripting (Python, PowerShell, VBA, Bash, Perl).
• Experience with PV technology and photovoltaic tracking solar systems.
• Proficiency with Salesforce Service Cloud.
