What you will do

• Lead solar and BESS projects from early-stage opportunity through Ready-to-Build and energisation.
• Assess sites from technical, planning, grid, and infrastructure perspectives.
• Develop grid connection and power export strategies in coordination with AEMO, DNSPs, and network service providers.
• Support planning, permitting, and stakeholder engagement processes.
• Identify and mitigate technical and development risks across generation and storage assets.
• Ensure projects are deliverable, scalable, and aligned with construction and commissioning requirements.

Requirements

• Experience developing utility-scale solar, BESS, or large-scale renewable energy infrastructure projects.
• Strong technical understanding of solar PV and battery storage systems, including inverter architecture and grid interconnection.
• Strong understanding of Australian planning frameworks and grid connection processes (AEMO registration, DNSP negotiations).
• Experience managing projects from early-stage development through design and permitting to delivery readiness.
• Analytical and self-directed approach with the ability to take significant project ownership.
